In the tunnel...

My advisor told me that being a good scientist:'...It's not about walking in the tunnel and trying to see where the end of it is. But, also about seeing windows of opportunities on the side of the tunnel and being able to use them...'. And I realized that I made a mistake in how I approached things, in terms of my classes. I thought classes were just requirements that we had to meet in order to graduate from the school. Therefore, I've just learnt for exams and forgot all about them. I even see my classes that I take this semester as my milestones to reach my goals. Hey, if I am failed on those classes, I will be put in a probation. And if nothing's changed after a while, no improvement whatsoever in my overall grades, the worst thing that could happened is I have to quit. For all classes, I am in the border between pass and fail...
